The Project Manager (f/m/d) will lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects to further develop the jet engine assembly and test facilities in Dahlewitz (near Berlin) . This role requires solid understanding of manufacturing processes, rigorous compliance with safety and quality standards, and the ability to manage stakeholders across operations, engineering, quality and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects in factory planning, new product introduction, capability acquisition and implementation of digital systems (e.g., SAP or MES).
 - Deliver from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget.
 - Coordination of interdisciplinary teams and interfaces between production, engineering, quality, IT, logistics, and external partners.
 - Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly and test processes.
 - Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
 - Track project performance using KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
 - Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
 - Ensure adherence to safety and environmental requirements within assembly and test operations.
 
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business studies, or comparable qualification
 - Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
 - Knowledge of factory planning, lean production, and digital production systems (e.g., SAP, MES)
 - Experience with project management methods and tools
 - Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach
 - Communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a team
 - Very good German and English skills
